Try this, sitting upright with a straight spine stretch your neck by gently lowering your right ear to your right shoulder. Now super slowly, move your head back and roll the left year over to your left shoulder. Take a deep breath and notice the tightness, the soreness, the resistance in your neck. I”m willing to bet its pretty tight in there, I know it hurts a little bit but also feels really good to give your neck a little stretch. Can you just take a moment and reflect on this? Just barely beneath your skin is muscle and tendon, nerves, and blood. And there is so much tenseness, just in a short 15 second stretch you can feel more space in your neck.
